On October 3rd, Nuno Sousa e Silva took part in the 11th Consumer Protection Day, organized by the European Supervisory Authorities, on a panel entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the financial sector: empowering consumers in the digital era”.
Pedro Sousa e Silva and Nuno Sousa e Silva lectured as part of the 15th Postgraduate Course in Intellectual Law organised by the Portuguese Intellectual Law Association in partnership with the University of Lisbon Law School between January and June 2024. Pedro Sousa e Silva addressed the design regime and intellectual rights litigation. Nuno Sousa e Silva taught the module on unfair competition, advertising and acts of exploitation and the workshop on copyright in action in Portuguese, European, and Brazilian courts.

The text explores the criteria for awarding and quantifying compensations for damages resulting from the violation of industrial property rights and copyright and related rights.
